Brussel sprouts with chestnutsby Tilly Baxter |

| Recipe Ingredients |
| 1kg brussel sprouts; 125g cooked and peeled chestnuts; 50g butter; salt and pepper. |
| Recipe Method |
| Using a small sharp knife, trim the base off
each sprout and remove any damaged outer leaves. Make a small cross
at the base of each sprout. Plunge the sprouts into boiling water and simmer for 4 minutes. Add the chestnuts and simmer for a further minute. Drain and return to the pan. Add the butter and season well with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Toss and serve straight away. |
